LMG’s Head of HR, Hannah Timcke, has taken out the top individual honour at the 2025 Australian HR Awards, being named HR Manager of the Year.

The award recognises outstanding achievement in people leadership and workplace culture, an area LMG has been intentionally investing in, with a clear focus on building a better experience for our people and brokers alike.
LMG also earned national recognition as a finalist for HR Team of the Year (less than 1000 employees), highlighting the strength and impact of the broader HR team.

According to Carly Lloyd, LMG’s Head of People and Culture, the recognition is a reflection of Timcke’s deep commitment to creating a people-first culture that brokers benefit from every day.

“Hannah brings an amazing mix of heart and professionalism to her work. Her leadership has shaped the way we support not just our internal teams, but our brokers too. Because at the end of the day, they’re the ones we’re all here to support, and it’s vital they feel backed by a culture and a team that genuinely puts people first.”

It comes off the back of LMG being recognised as the Australian Financial Review’s (AFR) BOSS Best Places to Work 2025 in the banking, superannuation and financial services category earlier this year. The annual list celebrates the top workplaces across Australia that are setting the standard for culture, wellbeing, flexibility and innovation.

These wins reflect the energy and investment LMG is continually investing into building a culture that backs our people.

When our people thrive, our brokers do too.
