The annual list celebrates the top workplaces across Australia that are setting the standard for culture, wellbeing, flexibility and innovation.
For LMG and Loan Market brokers, the recognition is a reflection of the team that supports them every day.
Sam White, Executive Chairman of LMG, said brokers benefit most when the people supporting them are thriving.
“When our people grow, our brokers grow. A healthy, high-performing team means faster service, better ideas, and more energy going into building the tools, training and support brokers need,” White said.
“This award isn’t just about being a good employer. It’s about building a culture that flows through to every part of the business, including the experience we give our brokers and their teams. We’re focused on staying curious, moving fast, constantly challenging ourselves and building a place where people can do their best work.””
In the past two years, LMG has introduced a suite of initiatives designed to support flexibility, wellbeing and development including six paid ‘Me Days’, 16 weeks of gender-equal parental leave, paid leave for fertility treatment and pregnancy loss, expanded mental health support and open access to learning and development programs.Plus, our long help tradition of Curiosity Day, a dedicated time for our people to explore ideas, solve problems and stretch their thinking.”
Carly Lloyd, Group Executive – People & Culture at LMG, said the focus has been on building a connected, values-aligned culture that sets people up to succeed.
“We’ve invested a lot in our people so they feel supported and so they feel supported and have the freedom to grow, and so they can invest their energy, care and capability into helping brokers build better businesses. It’s not just about making people feel good — it’s about meaningful work and real impact.” she said.
In 2024, LMG marked 30 years in business, still 100% family owned and led. Over the past three decades, it has become Australia’ and New Zealand’s largest aggregation group, with a team of 450 across Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines supporting more than 6,000 brokers.
“We’re big enough to create impact, but still small enough to stay personal, and that’s something we want brokers to feel every day in the way we support them,” said Lloyd.
LMG continues to invest in its people and culture, recognising that a thriving team is key to helping brokers build outstanding businesses and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
“As proud as we are of this recognition, we know the real work happens every day - staying close to our people, solving problems together, and building something that lasts,” said White.
“One of our values is being hungry but humble. We’ll celebrate this moment, then get back to doing what we do best - growing together and backing our brokers.”
