Loan Market has celebrated its top international brokers and businesses for 2022-23 whose commitment to customers and innovation in broking have set new benchmarks for the industry.

At Loan Market’s annual Scale-Up conference at Hamilton Island last night, National Director Andrew Thompson praised all winners and finalists across many categories.

“Brokers have come out of another challenging year in which they’ve managed a tsunami of refinancing, advice and support for clients amidst successive cash rate increases,” he said.

“Again, our businesses have risen to the challenge. It’s no surprise that the network’s Net Promoter Score has hit a new high of 97 - that’s a clear demonstration of the commitment they’ve shown to every customer who has entrusted their finance journey to them.

“It’s a special occasion in which we get to recognise those that are at the top echelon in our network. Their achievements are inspiring and contribute to a culture that helps other businesses thrive, as well.”

Perth’s Balpreet Bal was named Loan Market’s International Broker of the Year at the awards, held last night. Mr Bal has been a standout performer in WA for several years, recognised for his holistic service offering. Indeed, he helped his clients across more financial touchpoints – home loans, asset finance, utility connections and more - than any other Loan Market broker.

Top International Business for 22-23 was Brisbane-based Green Finance Group. Led by Managing Director Daniel Green, the business has grown exponentially on the back of a strategy that offers the spectrum of finance specialisations across its brokers: from residential lending to pub finance, medical centres and more.

As well as leading the team, Mr Green was also named the International Commercial Broker of the Year.

Melbourne-based Grant Rheuben received the illustrious Chairman’s Award for Contribution to the Group. The longstanding broker is as adept at commercial finance as he is at residential lending, and is always eager to share his knowledge with his peers.
