Loan Market’s mortgage and finance brokers took home a swag of awards at the Australian Mortgage Awards held at The Fullerton Hotel, Sydney, on Friday night.

Overall, the brand took home nine awards at the ceremony, including Loan Market being named OnDeck Aggregator of the Year (+500 brokers).

Loan Market was recognised for its staggering growth (settlements +51%) and industry-leading support of its broker network, including:

  • A business playbook that grows broker businesses;
  • Marketing tools to attract and retain more clients;
  • Innovative tech for lodgement and compliance;
  • Superior customer experience;
  • Australia’s most productive brokers and referral network.

Heading the network honours were Daniel Green, Managing Director of Green Finance Group and Damien Roylance, Managing Director at Entourage Finance.

Green was named the Westpac Australian Broker of the Year on the night. Earlier in the evening, Green was named La Trobe Financial Commercial Broker of the Year for his expertise and guidance in commercial finance, particularly across the niche areas of childcare and hospitality lending.

Entourage Finance - which offers a holistic approach to the client journey with mortgage and commercial finance brokers joined by in-house buyer / vendor advocates and conveyancers - was named the Resimac Top Brokerage (6-20 staff) for the second consecutive year. The consistency and innovation amongst the office also score the Melbourne-based team the Liberty Australian Brokerage of the Year title.

Melbourne-based EVERLEND, led by Evelyn Clark, also picked up a double on the night. The business was named the MFAA Brokerage of the Year (1-5 staff) and also claimed the BOQ Customer Service Award of the Year. The all-female team has a strong focus on communication with clients throughout the journey and wider marketplace education through their proactive social media profiles.

The network also scooped up the non-metropolitan titles at the gala.

Jason Cuerel from the Gold Coast’s Mortgage Innovations was named NextGen Regional Broker of the Year. Cuerel provides an exceptional level of service to his clients - it doesn't matter whether they’re seeking a $20,000 top-up or a $2m purchase, Cuerel always provides the highest level of service.

GO Mortgage, helmed by Xavier Quenon and Kylie Quenon, was named the Regional Brokerage of the Year. For the last four years, the brokerage has also been listed on www.threebestrated.com.au for ‘Gold Coast Mortgage Broker’ and boasts an unblemished rating across his Google My Business reviews.

Loan Market Managing Director Andrea McNaughton was thrilled that the network received the recognition it deserved.

“They are businesses of different sizes and models but they all come together under Loan Market with a common commitment for an unmatched client experience and growth.

“Each day I’m reminded how amazing our business owners are, but to watch so many of them being called on stage and recognised amongst their industry contemporaries was a tremendous thrill,” said Mrs McNaughton.

“I also want to recognise all our Excellence Awardees as well - the number of people who turned out to represent the Loan Market family speaks to the strength and culture of our group.”
