LMG has announced two key appointments to support brokers across South Australia and the Northern Territory part of its continued focus on helping brokers run safer, smarter and more sustainable businesses, backed by industry-leading tech, cyber and compliance support.

Andrew Sammut has been appointed Regional Director - South, and will lead LMG’s teams across South Australia, Northern Territory, Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia.

Sammut joined LMG in 2001 through the acquisition of Plan, Choice and FAST and previously served as Head of Southern Region for Choice. He has since held the role of LMG State Director for VIC/TAS and brings both leadership experience and broker insight, having run his own brokerage.

Rebecca Tanner has joined LMG as Portfolio Manager for South Australia and Northern Territory, taking on local responsibility for broker engagement and day-to-day support across both regions.

Tanner joins from Connective, where she was known for her practical, relationship-driven style and commitment to helping brokers get things done.

Their appointments come at a time of strong activity across the region, with brokers in SA and NT settling $927 million in loans over the past 12 months, a 45% increase year-on-year.

Rob Thomas, LMG National Director - Residential, with Andrew now leading the region and Rebecca supporting brokers locally in SA and NT, we’re better positioned to deliver the right support – grounded in tech, cyber and compliance, with people on the ground who genuinely understand what brokers need.

“Rebecca brings incredible energy, commitment and experience. Brokers have trusted her because she’s been in their corner, working with them to create more opportunities in their businesses,” he said.
Tanner said what really stood out to her was how seriously LMG takes broker support,” Tanner said.

“There’s a full team on the ground in Adelaide – across residential, commercial and asset finance – plus specialists in tech, cyber, compliance, diversification training and events, all working together to help brokers succeed.”
