Originally scheduled for this week on the Gold Coast (12–13 March), the event has been rescheduled to Tuesday 1 – Wednesday 2 April at the same venue, the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Ewen Stafford, LMG Executive Director & CEO, said that while rescheduling wasn’t what anyone wanted, it has created an even bigger opportunity - one that goes beyond business.
“Growth Summit has always been about bringing brokers together to sharpen their skills and drive growth. But right now, we’ve got a chance to do more, to show up for the communities that need us,” he said.
"By turning our broker celebration theme, the Wild West Broker Fest, into Wild West GiveFest, we’re giving brokers a way to come together and make a real difference for those who need it most.”
Wild West GiveFest will raise funds for charities providing aid where it’s needed most. Domestic violence often spikes during and after natural disasters, leaving many women and children in desperate need of support, safe housing, and emergency assistance.
“One of the GiveFest’s charity partners is Friends With Dignity, which provides aid and practical support to those escaping domestic violence so they can take their first steps towards rebuilding their lives,” Stafford said.
The mental health toll of extreme weather events can be significant, with many experiencing stress, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress, sometimes leading to high-risk coping behaviours.
“Our second charity partner, Batyr, works within communities to provide mental health education and support, helping people manage these challenges and rebuild their resilience.”
The fundraiser will also support QLD SES, whose volunteers are providing critical emergency and rescue services, responding to disasters and keeping communities safe.
LMG is making it easy for brokers to get involved, with fundraising happening during Growth Summit. Direct donations will be open throughout the event, with Loan Market Group dollar matching.
A charity auction at GiveFest, hosted by Mark Churchill of Allfin, will feature exclusive prizes and experiences, while a raffle and other activations will give attendees even more ways to contribute. Every dollar raised will go directly to supporting these essential services.
Stafford added: "The Gold Coast has always welcomed us, and now it’s our turn to show up for them.
“Events like Growth Summit play a crucial role in supporting the local economy, and this is an opportunity to give back in a meaningful way.
“Brokers are all about helping people - that’s what they do every day. Growth Summit and our Wild West GiveFest is a chance for the industry to come together and extend that support to communities that need it most."
Growth Summit will feature an epic speaker lineup, including Loan Market Group Executive Chairman, Sam White, ultramartahon athlete Nedd Brokmann, Four Pillars Gin co-founder Matt Jones, and AI expert Kim Seeling Smith, and tailored broker workshops.
